Konu: 1982 yılında Adıyaman’da bir grup yerel müzisyen, o yıllarda uygulanmakta olan sokağa çıkma yasağından dolayı geçim sıkıntısına düşerler. Geçinebilmek için buldukları çözüm hepsinin tutuklanmasına yol açar. Yörenin sıkıyönetim komutanı, bu yerel müzisyenleri “çağdaş bir orkestra”ya dönüştürmek isteyince traji komik olaylar dizisi başlar. Kenti ziyaret edecek olan Konsey üyelerine ilginç bir karşılama hazırlamaya karar verirler. Konseyi karşılamaya hazırlanan başkaları da vardır. Üniversite öğrencisi Haydar bir protesto eylemi düşünmektedir ve bu eylemi gerçekleştirmek için “çağdaş orkestra”nın şefi seçilen Abuzer’in kızı Gülendam’dan yardım almaktadır. Birbirlerinden habersiz olarak yürütülen bu hazırlıkların karışması sonucunda herkesi bir sürpriz beklemektedir.

Synopsis: In 1982, a group of local musicians in Adıyaman, southeastern Anatolia, are having trouble earning a living due to the curfew implemented in those years, and they finally end up in jail. The commander in charge of the regional martial law decides to create a "modern orchestra" with these local street musicians. They decide to prepare an interesting welcome ceremony for the members of the National Military Council, who will visit the town. Meanwhile, Haydar, a university student, is planning a protest and Gülendam, daughter of Abuzer, the conductor of the "modern orchestra", is assisting him. A surprise is on the way, which occurs when these conflicting plans get in the way of each other.

Time: Saturday, March 8, 7:00-9:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30pm  (Nobody will be allowed inside after 7:00pm.)

Directions: From I-5, take the La Jolla Village Dr. exit and head west. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Dr. When you get to the T-intersection at the end of the road, you'll be in front of the Gilman parking structure. Center Hall is two blocks west of the Gilman Parking Structure. On weekends you can park on any of the surface lots as well, provided there are no signs indicating a permit is required seven days a week (rare). Please see the following map for detailed directions. Center Hall is building 984 on the map.
