California Dreams in
Turquoise
Del Mar Artist Exhibit
in Istanbul
Maura Harvey,
Del Mar artist, will present a one-woman exhibition
in Nakkas Gallery in Sultanahmet District, Istanbul,
on September 14, Friday. The title of the show is
"California Dreams in Turquoise."

Artist
Statement
As a
Californian, I am eager to share my art with the
wonderful, hospitable people of Turkey.
I have focused
on what we have in common: nature, sea and sky.
Migration of animals and people are constant themes
as are hope and a sense of magic.
My dream is
that, through art, we can enrich our lives, extend
our horizons, and strengthen our appreciation for
each other's culture. Together we can create a
world community.
