Filmin Konusu: Annesi tarafından ABD'ye gönderilen ancak oradaki hayat şartlarının filmlerde sunulduğu gibi toz pemde olmadığını anlayan masum bir genç kız olan Ebru'nun aşk hayatında yaşadığı hayal kırıklıkları ve başına gelen kötü olaylar sonrasında düştüğü durum ve onu bu kötülüklerden korumaya çalışan Rusty isimli işitme engelli bir sanatçı konu ediliyor.

Synopsis:

Broken Angel is the true story of a Turkish girl who comes to Hollywood full of dreams and hope, but is "dragged under by the side of America not really seen in many films or TV shows." The star of the movie is Nehir Erdogan, one of Turkey's most popular and bright young actresses, and at a time when communication is the key to better understanding, "her only friend is the one person who does not use language to communicate, a deaf artist."

"The greatest ideal we have for this movie is that it will reach not just the Turkish community in Turkey, Europe and America, but with such an international story, it will reach all people everywhere.

Although many Turkish films are great in their own right, and have a true fan base in Turkey, the stories are not easily understood outside of Turkey. It is very difficult for an American to relate to 'Babam ve Oglum' or to 'Eskiya.' Even though they may appreciate some of the performances, or they may find the stories interesting on the surface, the audience has to identify with a character in order to truly relate to the film."

Directions: From I-5, take the La Jolla Village Dr. exit and head west. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Dr. When you get to the T-intersection at the end of the road, you'll be in front of the Gilman parking structure. Center Hall is two blocks west of the Gilman Parking Structure. On weekends you can park on any of the surface lots as well, provided there are no signs indicating a permit is required seven days a week (rare).
