Filmin Konusu:

Mert (İsmail Hacıoğlu), Sinan (Yagmur Atacan), Gamze (Ruya Onal), Kaan (Caner Ozyurtlu) ve Uluc (Volkan Demirok), gelecek kaygısı, aile baskısı, yogun okul temposu ve sınav depresyonu nedeniyle iyice bunalmıştır. Ekibin once okuldaki yazılı sorularını ele gecirmekle baslayan macerası OSS Soru Bankası soygununa dek uzanır. Bir donemin kopya uzmanı sistem karsıtı efsane oğrencisi Levent Lemi, gorevini her anlamda kotuye kullanan okul muduru Rafet, idealist mudur yardımcısı Zeynep Erez, otoriter matematik ogretmeni Fatma Hoca, cocukların yarış atı gibi calıstırıldığı yanlıs sınav sisteminin yakın tanığı haline gelen Urfalı "Jokey Baba" Saadettin, hayattaki tek dayanagı olan oğlu Guler i onurlu bir insan olarak yetistirmeye calısan komiser baba Metin, oglunun hayatını saat gibi planlayan Almancı baba Sedat ve tum derdi kendi muzik albumunu cıkartmak olan muzik hocası Candan ın da katılımıyla sınav macerası daha da heyecanlı bir hal alir.

Vizontele ve G.O.R.A gibi gise sampiyonu filmlerde imzası bulunan Omer Faruk Sorak, bu kez kamerasını Turkiye nin sorunlu sınav sistemine -ama cok eglenceli bir sekilde- ceviriyor. Filmin en buyuk surprizi ise aksiyon sinemasının yıldızı Jean-Claude Van Damme...

Synopsis:

The Exam portrays the difficult school life of the high school students Mert, Sinan, Gamze, Kaan and Uluc, who suffer under the pressures of the forthcoming university entrance exam. In order to study, they must keep their grade point averages as high as possible, which is not the case yet. When one day they succeed in stealing exam questions of a lesson, they come up with the daring idea of cracking the university question database as well, in order to pass the nightmarish entrance exam. But this is easier said than done: How does one access the exam questions that are prepared by a governmental agency and are protected by armed guards like Fort Knox? There is only one thief (Jean-Claude van Damme) in the world, which possesses the skills required to do this... But how can one convince him to come to Turkey and do the job? It quickly becomes clear that the reckless idea has become a consequence-filled adventure, dragging the five friends rapidly with it.

Time: Saturday, June 7, 7:30-9:00 pm. Doors open at 7:00pm (Nobody will be allowed inside after 7:30pm.)

Suggested Donation: $6 for general public, $4 for members, $3 for students.

Directions: From I-5, take the La Jolla Village Dr. exit and head west. Turn right onto Villa La Jolla Dr. When you get to the T-intersection at the end of the road, you'll be in front of the Gilman parking structure. Center Hall is two blocks west of the Gilman Parking Structure. On weekends you can park on any of the surface lots as well, provided there are no signs indicating a permit is required seven days a week (rare). Please see the following map for detailed directions. Center Hall is building 984 on the map.
